Vitex agnus-castus
Also known as chaste tree berry, Vitex has been used in ancient medicine to support breast tenderness, menstrual cramps and mood changes associated with PMS. Vitex has been shown to support PMS symptoms, irregular cycles, fertility and ovulation in a number of clinical trials and is considered to be the queen of botanical extracts for hormonal health and fertility.
Ashwagandha
Sensoril® Ashwagandha extract has been clinically studied for its benefits for stress, sleep, mood, energy, and focus. This patented extract is standardised to contain 10% withanolide content. Withanolides are the active components of Ashwaghanda that give it its mood supporting and stress reducing benefits.
Iodine from Atlantic Kelp
Iodine is an essential mineral - meaning our bodies cannot make it and we need to ingest it to maintain our health and wellbeing. Iodine is essential to thyroid function, breast health, cognition, energy production & hormonal wellbeing.
Zinc
Zinc is a crucial nutrient for ovulation. It is intimately involved in the maturation and function of an egg and research shows that zinc deficiency can inhibit ovulation and block the growth of healthy follicles. We use zinc gluconate beause it is the most studied form of zinc and has been shown to be more readily absorbed by the body than other forms of zinc.

Period Pal isn’t recommended during these phases.
Is Period Pal contraindicated with any medications or health conditions?
If you're on any medications, please check with your healthcare professional prior to using this product. We don’t recommend using Period Pal if you are using thyroid medication. We also don’t recommend Period Pal to be used in conjunction with chemotherapy medications or for those with cancer. If you are using Talinolol, any anti-seizure medications or have a history of epilepsy we’d recommend checking with your Doctor before use. If you have an allergy to nightshades, Period Pal isn’t for you because it contains ashwagandha; which is a nightshade.
I’m trying to conceive. Should I take Period Pal?
Period Pal is great for supporting fertility as it nourishes the ovaries and supports healthy egg development and ovulation. As is the case with many powerful herbs, there isn’t much research on Vitex and Ginkgo Biloba in pregnant and breastfeeding women so if or when you find out you are pregnant, simply stop taking Period Pal and switch to a quality prenatal. If you are undergoing IVF or IUI we don’t recommend Period Pal.
I’ve just come off hormonal contraception (eg the pill) should I take Period Pal?
It's best to wait 2-3 months after coming off hormonal contraception (such as the pill, rod, Mirena and Depo injection) before starting Period Pal. In the meantime, we recommend nourishing your body with Take Me With The Pill to replenish your stores of key vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Can my teenage daughter use Period Pal?
Period Pal is recommended for those 18+. If your teen is experiencing irregular periods, PMS symptoms or other hormonal issues this may simply be their body calibrating to its new requirement to run a monthly hormonal cycle, which can last all through their teens. If they are experiencing cystic acne, extremely heavy bleeding or life-impacting cramping we’d recommend visiting a doctor.

Ok so I came off the pill a year ago, and have had irregular periods ever since! A month ago I start taking the period pal and then two and a bit weeks ago I started taking blood sugar babe. So I have no clue which one has prompted my period to come but somethings worked. I mean it may be a coincidence that I got my period after 4 months of not having it but wow I think it’s helped!

Can’t believe it!
I bought period pal to take when I came off the pill after 9 years. Anticipating my periods would be awful like there were prior to the pill, I needed a supplement to help me try to avoid that. I have just got my first post pill real period and other than very minor cramps, it feels no different to my “pill period” and I’m shocked! My mood hasn’t changed during the entire first month off the pill, I ovulated on day 12 and period came day 26. I am so happy that I don’t need to be on the pill and my periods are no longer going to take over my life 😁

Amazing and only one month in!
For years Ive experience very painful cramps with my period- especially the first 48 hours. Had seen period pal all over Instagram. So read through the reviews and thought why not. Well one month in and when my period arrived, my cramps where not as bad. Also not as bloated leading up to my period. Onto my second jar now and looking forward to seeing how it goes. We have just started trying to convince, so hope this will help support that journey too.

guys .. give it a month to kick in and you rly start to see the benefits. Although it doesn't take that long to notice changes. My skin is getting clearer and has a glow to it I didn't have before, its soo lovely. In terms of period pain, it was about 4 1/2 out of 10, and only 6 days so relatively average length. I'm patient though I know I need to wait until my next period to see if it gets shorter/even less pain. Very happy with it <3 I have pcos and was switching from my usual chaste berry to this, so glad I did! If you have doubts I'd say go for it!
Game changer
Initially I was skeptical about this product however, I have been taking period pal for over a year now. I used to have irregular periods with crashing 10/10 pain on the first day of my period. Along side the pain I would become pale, sweaty and have bowel symptoms. I used to have anxiety that I would get my period when I was away from home or at work and not be able to cope. Since taking period pal I would say 95% of the time my periods are a complete breeze, maybe 2/10 pain max. I can’t tell you how much relief I’ve found in that. It has been truely liberating. I feel like I’m not limited by my menstrual cycle anymore and am safe in my own body. I really love this product.
This is a good one
This is great. Has pretty much everything you need for period problems. I’ve been taking supplements for my period symptoms and Endo and pcos for over 15 years and this is just great for ease of use. Saves you from having to take multiple different pills. There’s a few extras I take on the side but overall a great mix of supplements for period health. Recommend giving this one a try for a few months if you are struggling with period problems.

Amazing
I waitied a few months before writing this review, because I wanted to be sure that the first month of using this product wasn't a fluke! Before taking Period Pal, I was suffering hideously at least one day of my period every month. That day I would literally be crying all day in bed, feeling like all my problems were the worst. I never knew what day that would be, but it would always come any time during my period. I would also feel extremely tired and anxious. After months of suffering and dreading the day of gloom, someone suggested I try a supplement.. so I bought Period Pal and when I had that following period...no blues. I sailed through it!! I have now been taking this amazing product for 3 months and have had no sad period days! Not even anxiety! Maybe a wee bit teary, but teary in a good way, as in when someone tells me something beautiful or emotional, the empathy tears come on strong, but I would never want that blocked out! 🤣 Thanks for an amazing product. I no longer dread my periods. ❤️
