How to use

Simple. Daily. Effective.

  1. Enjoy hot: Mix 1 tsp in a mug with 100mL of heated milk or boiling water, stir to dissolve, then top up with another 100mL.
  2. Enjoy cold: Mix 1 tsp with 100mL of milk or water, stir to dissolve, fill with ice, then top up with another 100mL of milk.
  3. Make it yours. Add a shot of espresso, or use it in your baking.

Functional Mushroom Latte

I was hesitant to replace my morning coffee with this drink but I am incredibly pleased I took a chance. This drink gives me the focus and energy to go about the day. I'm not craving that caffeine high, nor grabbing those biscuits at morning tea, and the delicious flavour makes me excited to get out of bed. Honestly, please don't change a thing about this latte powder, it is so so good!

The product does taste yummy (I had it without coffee for my first try), and I'll definitely be finishing it. But (and it's a big one), the labelling isn't correct, and there simply isn't enough information or actual functional ingredients in this latte mix. The ingredient list states there's 82% cocoa powder, 38% oat milk powder, and ~1% of some of the other mushroom extracts, as well as the other ingredients. Just these three ingredients are over 120% already, which means there is actually way less than 1% of the functional mushroom extracts actually in this product, which is super disappointing!! I also don't see anywhere online or on the packaging why these particular mushrooms are beneficial, which I would love to see to show that Eve has done their research and picked mushies that are going to have amazing benefits for me! Not sure what category this latte mix sits in though, as I know you can/can't make claims depending on the Standard it falls under. I'd also love to know the amount of mushrooms I'm having in every serve. For the amount of functional ingredients in this, I think the price ($30NZD) is a miss for me too, unfortunately.

I have cross checked our stock of the Functional mushroom latte, and the percentage balance of ingredients is correct. This should read 40% cocoa powder, 38% oat milk powder, followed by natural flavours, 2.2% total mushroom extract (Shiitake mushroom extract (1.15%), Reishi mushroom extract (0.38%), Maitake mushroom extract (0.38%), Lions Mane extract (0.29%)), followed by sweetener and vitamin B3. If your specific label does not have the same ingredient quantities that I have listed above, we would love it if you could provide a photo of this to us. This is important for us to document and follow up with our logistics team, so we can ensure this does not happen again. Regarding our Superfood latte range, these are supplemented foods, which means they are food products that are designed to help people make healthy habit swaps. The goal was to make delicious drinks people would opt for over their afternoon coffee or sweet treat, that could be actually be disrupting their ability to achieve their health goals. The range works alongside our high strength supplement range to help people build healthy habits. They contain herbs that have been consumed in food by ancient tribes, at non therapeutic doses for centuries. We do not have claims on the packaging for the herbal and mushroom extracts, due to them being foods. Instead we have claims that relate to a few of the nutrients on the packaging that have been added for the extra benefits, in food appropriate doses. The price point is due to the high quality ingredients we choose to use in these products. Organic, supplement grade, sugar free and clean ingredients, all come at a cost sadly.  This is the price of true quality which we believe our customers deserve. It tasted nice, struggled to mix it in but also, super low on the ingredients you want. Less oat milk power and choc powder, more of the goods so they are actually beneficial

Functional Mushroom Latte

I was lovingly managing my subscription and happened to be treated to a free sample. The mail arrived - I'm usually not huge on chocolate or 'flavored' latte drink fan. Much to my delight the ingredients list aligned with my requirements (#fussy) and I happily made myself a drink. I am so pleased that Eve is the way they are, consciously creating magic, this is so precious to me and my temple (body). I now have this magical mushroom latte in my morning coffee AND my chocolate-latte-loving partner is also enjoying Eve! Thank you to our wonderful people at Eve for your magic. I was super excited to find that Eve launched a mushroom latte into their stable of awesome products. Having had a daily mushroom latte for a long time from the cafe at $7.50 a pop it was like all my Christmasses has come at once! Such a great price for such a quality product too. This is legitimately probably the most delicious hot drink I've ever had. I like to put it with my coffee in the morning, and just by itself in the afternoon with oat milk and holy heck I just love it. I even went and bought a milk frother from k mart to make it feel FANCY. Anyway, I'm obsessed.
