As much as we love supporting our Evies through every single stage of life, unfortunately Clear Skin Drink isn't suitable for pregnancy or breastfeeding. We have some other great options, including Women’s Multi + Iron to support your body during this phase.
Is Clear Skin Drink suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
Yes, Clear Skin Drink is completely free from animal products, so this is vegetarian and vegan-friendly.
Is Clear Skin Drink allergy-friendly?
Yes! Clear Skin Drink is: gluten free, soy free, dairy free, corn free, refined sugar free, GMO free, free of artificial colours, flavours and additives.
What age range is Clear Skin Drink suitable for?
Clear Skin Drink is suitable for ages 18+. DIM (one of the ingredients in Clear Skin Drink) isn’t recommended for younger women.
Can I take Clear Skin Drink alongside my other Eve Wellness supplements?
You absolutely can take this alongside most of the Eve range. But there is one thing to keep in mind. Because of the myo-inositol overlap, Clear Skin Drink shouldn't be taken alongside Blood Sugar Babe. But don't panic! You are still getting that amazing 4000mg dose of inositol straight from this delicious new supp.
Is Clear Skin Drink contraindicated with any medications (like Accutane) or health conditions?
We love that you want to show your skin some extra love! But we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider first if you are taking any medications. Once you have the green light from your doctor or specialist, be sure to take Clear Skin Drink at least two hours away from any medication.
Can I take Clear Skin Drink alongside oral contraception?
Some evidence suggests that DIM may interfere with the effectiveness of hormonal contraception options such as the pill, meaning it may not prevent you from conceiving. Because of this, we don’t recommend using it alongside the pill if you are sexually active, or use a secondary barrier method of contraception such as condoms.
Can I expect my skin to “purge” or break out when I first start drinking this?
Everybody is different! Because of this, every single Evie will have a slightly different experience when introducing new products to their routine.
Since our skin is our largest organ, it's often one of the main ways our body helps to clear things out. Because of this, when you introduce a powerhouse ingredient like DIM (which supports normal hormone metabolism), a brief "detox" reaction could happen for some people. Annoyingly, this means things can occasionally look a tiny bit worse before they get better! This is completely normal and usually settles down as your body adjusts. But, as always, if your symptoms persist, we definitely recommend having a chat with your healthcare provider just to be safe.
You may find it beneficial to start on a half-dose and work up to a full dose over the course of a week or two, to soften the detox reaction.
When is the best time of day to drink this? Do I need to have it with food?
You can take your Clear Skin Drink whenever fits best into your daily routine! However, if you know that taking supplements on an empty stomach tends to leave your tummy feeling a little bit upset (Zinc and DIM can occasionally be the culprits there!), we definitely suggest drinking it alongside or shortly after a meal or a hearty snack just to keep things happy.
How should I mix it? Can I put it in my hot coffee or a smoothie?
From a functionality perspective you can absolutely put it in a smoothie or any cold drink, actually. But honestly, because it has such a ridiculously yummy pink lemonade flavour, we think it’s best served all on its own! However, the active ingredients do not play well with heat, so as long as you’re not adding it to hot drinks you’ll be sweet.
